OH Golf day at Burghill Valley Golf Club
In May 2026 eighteen OH’s assembled at Burghill Valley Golf Club, were joined by Helen Pearson and Lucy Debenham from the development office and met by another OH, Amy Ellis, our organiser for the day.Rob Pye, Neil Herbert and Roger Morgan won the day and were allowed to touch the School House Invitational Team Cup for a brief moment. Apart from this privilege, everyone who plays receives the same prize. After all, as we were taught in school, it is the taking part which counts.It was the first appearance of Jonty Furness in the OH Golf day and, in all, we fielded five teams of three. Please join us next year on Thursday May 13th. The supper in the evening is taken at 6pm and this allows OH’s to drive home afterwards if they wish. Those staying overnight tend to meet in the Green Dragon for a nightcap. Let me know if you are interested and I’ll contact you in the new year.Andrew Singer
