From Bristol Law Society We are deeply shocked and saddened at the sudden and unexpected death of our colleague, Edward Langford.Edward devoted his whole career to the one firm, originally Meade King but now part of Knights, having been articled to the firm in 1990 and as a partner for more than 20 years.He was recognised as a charming and professional member of the commercial property community in Bristol.He was always a conscientious and above all supportive leader with technical knowledge and commercial acumen that engendered complete trust and confidence in all those around him. Edward will be sorely missed by all those with and for whom he worked with over the years.Most importantly we extend our heartfelt condolences to Edward's family, Annie, William and Mary and all his friends and loved ones at this most difficult time.
Edward Langford. 3rd June 1967 - 7th August 2025.Edward Langford attended both The Cathedral Preparatory school followed by the Cathedral School in the 70s and 80s and thoroughly enjoyed his time at school. Afterwards, Edward attended Bristol Polytechnic and went on to qualify as a solicitor in 1992.Edward devoted his whole career to one business, formerly Meade King in Bristol, which later became part of Knights. Here he spent more than 25 years as a partner.He was recognised as a charming and professional member of the commercial property community in Bristol.Edward will be sorely missed by all his friends and family. He was a devoted husband to Annie and father of their two children, William and Mary. The funeral will take place in Bristol on 25th September, which will be attended by members of the Old Herefordian community.Kind regardsCarolyn Bassett (sister)
