1000 Voices for Peace

Between 3rd and 9th November 2014, over 1000 singers from 16 countries around the World took part in a number of fellowship concerts in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. Their final performance was a joint concert with the Brussels Philharmonic at the Flanders Festival in Brussels to commemorate the Great War in an inspiring statement for peace. There they premiered an oratorio for peace by Krzysztof Penderecki. The Senior Chamber Choir of Hereford Cathedral School was honoured to representing the United Kingdom
